Let's Rewrite a Child's Story
The Children of Mehr Foundation (CMF), founded in 2021 by Dena Karari and a dedicated team of Iranians in America, stands as a pillar of support dedicated to fostering educational equity. Central to our mission is the belief that every child, regardless of age, location, or circumstance within Iran, deserves access to age-appropriate education.
“One child, one teacher, one book, one pen can change the world.”

Education Equity for all: Shaping the Future
The Children of Mehr Foundation is dedicated to educational justice, believing every child under 18 in Iran deserves access to suitable education, regardless of their circumstances. Recognizing the challenges faced by rural, nomadic, and disabled children in accessing quality education, our mission is to ensure equal opportunities for all. By providing pathways to knowledge and talent development, we aim to make a lasting positive impact on these children and their families, supporting a brighter future for every child.
Aware of the economic, social, and cultural challenges in underprivileged areas, the Children of Mehr Foundation is committed to establishing a comprehensive platform for education, culture, and well-being for children in every region we reach. Our goal is to minimize educational dropout rates by ensuring every child has access to the resources they need to succeed.
Our motto at Children of Mehr Foundation is:
We want to rewrite the story of childhood
Focus of Children of Mehr Foundation
The Children of Mehr Foundation is dedicated to serving Iran’s most remote and needy provinces, starting with Fars, Kohgiloyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, and planning to reach Khozestan, Bushehr, and Sistan & Baluchestan. These regions suffer from difficult terrain and insufficient infrastructure, leaving them without the vital resources and support found in more accessible areas.
Despite these challenges, our focus remains on the children—the heart of future community growth. Our initiatives aim to enhance the life quality and prospects of youth aged 3-12, navigating through these adversities to unlock their full potential.
With an 18-year legacy of meaningful aid and a solid foundation of resources and organizational structure, we stand committed to bridging gaps and fostering opportunities for every child to succeed.”
